Latest Diaison Dangereuse lingerie ad campaign is bound to be noticed



German luxury lingerie house Diaison Dangereuse has launched a new ad that looks set to cause some controversy. The ad starts with a woman wearing nothing but heels who proceeds to dress herself in a sexy lingerie set while admiring herself in the mirror. As she ads each item, bra, panties, stockings and suspenders she takes some time to enjoy the moment and the lingerie. But by the end of the end she finishes off by slipping on a Burka. The punchline: 'Sexiness for everyone. Everywhere'.
The message here is that lingerie is just as much about wearing as it is about being seen and that women can enjoy their underwear even if they are only ones who know just what they are wearing. Whether or not the ad will strike the right tone in countries where burkas are the fashion remains to be seen.
